This workshop will introduce you to the basics of Kundalini Yoga. Kundalini Yoga is an ancient technique, consisting of body, breath, and sound current exercises that work on the body’s glandular and energy system. Our energy system influences the way we feel and relate to the world around us. This relationship, between us and the outside world, lies at the core of daily stress.  Through these ancient yogic techniques, we will learn to direct our energy rather than be directed and controlled by it, enabling us to manage our daily stress and live healthy and happy lives.

Patricia Voege holds a M.A. in health psychology from UCLA where she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. Her work focuses on the effects of daily stress on our physical and mental health. Patricia is a certified 200hr Kundalini Yoga teacher.
Patricia is a native German and moved to Los Angeles nine years ago after having spent three years living in the Middle East. In LA, she discovered Kundalini Yoga, and shortly thereafter completed her teacher training.  Patricia fuses her scientific knowledge about how stress affects our body with Kundalini Yoga, honoring wisdom and progress, to help her students rise above everyday challenges. Bring a yoga mat or towel.
